What does Aracne+ offer?

ARACNE+ is a European project co-financed by the Erasmus+ programme – Key Activity 2: Strategic Partnerships in Adult Education developed between September 2017 and February 2020.

The main objective of the ARACNE+ project is to validate, develop and consolidate a training model of socio-labour insertion that has been generated by a previous project Erasmus+ KA2 – Strategic Associations for Adult Education, called ARACNE TRAINING, EMPOWERMENT, ENTREPRENEURSHIP.

ARACNE+ has tested the ARACNE model in different contexts and countries (Spain, Italy, Greece and Portugal), in addition to designing a training course for trainers and putting it into practice, having trained 18 trainers from different parts of the globe, including the countries participating in the project and trainers from America.

ARACNE presents a model of socio-labour intervention that pivots on three axes: EMPLOYMENT, SELF-EMPLOYMENT AND PROFESSIONAL TRAINING.

Trainers who wish to work with this model must design training actions that integrate activities in each of these three axes, so that the training action favours a change in the person who receives the training (user) in a global way. In other words, it is a model that avoids the traditional approach of encapsulated and decontextualised training. Instead, the model proposes to start from the knowledge and skills that users have already acquired and to continue developing them according to their personal interests and professional objectives.
